About JOCMAS
Journal of Communications, Media and Society (JOCMAS) began in 2009 as a a bi-annual publication. It is a peer-reviewed publication whose objective is to publish rigorous research in communication covering journalism, public relations, media studies and its allied subjects. It has a multidisciplinary orientation, focusing strongly on the dissemination of research information in the afore-mentioned areas in the social sciences and humanities. It aims to serve as an academic reference source for professionals and scholars in mass communication, media studies, and the social sciences/humanities. The Journal is currently under invigorated advisory and editorial boards, whose aim is to produce quality material that would appeal to local and international researchers and readers. JOCMAS, thus, welcomes research including but not limited to articles comprisning case studies, essays/commentaries, seminars/workshop/conference presentations and book reviews related to the broad objective of this journal.
